Emmanuel Home

September 24, 2012

The Christian Senior Citizens Homes Society of Northern Alberta was established in 1968 with the dream of providing quality living accommodations and care to seniors in the Christian community. The Emmanuel Home’s Grand Opening was held in February, 1973. The facility had 36 suites and several large accommodations.

In September 1995, the 51 suite east wing was added and renovations were made to the central dining and recreation areas. In May 2012, the Emmanuel Home added another exciting event to their history with the completion of 56 one and two-bedroom suites. Christian Credit Union is pleased to provide a mortgage of $8,000,000 for
the addition.

Emmanuel Home offers a Christian atmosphere, beautiful courtyard and grounds, roomy suites, diverse recreational programs and outings, and caring, dedicated staff. Christian Credit Union also provides weekly on-site banking at Emmanuel Home.
