2003 Christian Credit Union’s Building Legacies Golf Classic

December 01, 2003

The 2nd annual Christian Credit Union Building Legacies Golf Classic in support of Parkland Immanuel Christian School was a success.

About $18,000 was raised through sponsor pledges and corporate support. Thirty-six golfers enjoyed a beautiful day of golf at the Ranch Golf and Country Club in west Edmonton on September 27. Early that Saturday morning, the weather looked like it would be cool and overcast. However, the clouds parted nicely and everyone enjoyed a warm and sunny day on the course.

The 2003 event built on the momentum established with the inaugural tournament in 2002. Twenty golfers raised about $14,000 last year.

The Christian Credit Union supports similar tournaments for other Christian Schools including Edmonton Christian School, Trinity Christian School, Calgary and the Society of Christian Education in Southern Alberta’s "Bytes and Bites" Classic.
