Call for Nominations

The Board of Directors of Christian Credit Union is seeking nominations from our membership for qualified Board candidates to run for election, representing our more than 7,500 members.

This is a unique opportunity to represent our membership, set our strategic direction, and encourage us to achieve our vision of being the recognized leader in applying biblical principles to financial services. To complement the skills and experience of our Board of Directors, we are seeking individuals with experience in information technology. In addition, the Board of Directors is encouraging female nominations as we strive to promote diversity on our board. While these are areas of need, any qualified nominations would be accepted and appreciated.

Nominations to fill up to 2 Director vacancies for a 3-year term will be put forward to the membership for election prior to our Annual General Meeting in March 2025. If you would like to nominate a fellow member for the Board of Directors, please refer to the Qualifications of Directors below. This package includes details on the responsibilities and requirements of a Board Director.

The Form for Nominations is available below and physical copies are available from any Christian Credit Union branch.

Nominations must be in writing and signed by the member being nominated and the member making the nomination. Please address your nominations to Eric Nederlof, Governance Committee Convener and deliver it to either branch or email to cwoudstra@christiancu.ca by no later than September 13, 2024.

There are two director positions up for election. The current status of these director positions are as follows:

Eric Nederlof

- does not plan to seek re-election

Henry VanSteenbergen

- does plan to seek re-election
