Business Banking Administrator - Calgary

We are seeking a fulltime Business Banking Administrator - Member Services filling a 12 month contract at our Calgary branch. The role is responsible for updating and maintaining signing authorities information in our system and performing a variety of administrative functions supporting our Business members. This role is an integral member of the Business banking team, and completion of tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner is key to the delivery of member service excellence. The role also performs general reception and administrative tasks at the Calgary branch.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collects member information and prepares account documents for new accounts and changes to signing authorities for non-personal accounts. Performs set up and funding of account in banking systems as applicable in compliance with related checklists.
  • Completes digital file set-up and ongoing maintenance.
  • Prepares documentation for new Business Pay services, submits new applications and ongoing change requests to Credit Union Payment Services (CUPS), and responds to member inquiries regarding their Business Pay accounts.
  • Assists with commercial and agricultural loan product renewal reports and assists in the preparation of renewal documentation under the direction of the Manager of Administration.  Gathers and processes renewal information on the system, ensuring all documentation is complete.
  • Performs general member services activities including issuance of drafts, debit cards and other services.

What skills and attributes does a Business Banking Administrator need?

  • Demonstrates exemplary Christian character including a desire to promote biblical financial stewardship.
  • Possesses basic knowledge of financial products and services. Knowledge of business entities is an asset.
  • Demonstrates strong capabilities in critical thinking, problem solving and decision‐making.
  • Demonstrates high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely; demonstrates strong written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and demonstrates strong computer literacy.
  • Post secondary education or equivalent financial services experience is an asset.
