Call for Nominations

October 20, 2017

The following Board nominees will be declared elected by acclamation at our AGM in March 2018.

Laura Veenendaal

Laura is a homeschooling mother and has been the Copy Manager of Clarion magazine for the past 13 years. She graduated university with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology (family studies).

Laura and her husband Shawn have four children. They attend St. Albert Canadian Reformed Church where Laura volunteers on various committees and as a church pianist. She is a board member of St. Albert Youth Basketball League and volunteered with Winnipeg Crisis  Pregnancy Centre during her university years.

Laura has been a member since 1990 and believes Christian Credit Union is a great place for households, businesses, churches, schools, and other non-profit organizations. She would like to be involved with something that is such an important part of our community.


Peter Van Bostelen

Peter John Deys

Peter John Deys has lived in Lethbridge for almost 20 years. He graduated from Dordt College (1981) with a B.A. in Communications and spent 35 years in media, working at television stations in Lethbridge (Global), Edmonton (ITV/Global), and Medicine Hat. He currently manages two radio stations in Lethbridge.

Peter John and his wife Carla have 3 adult children and attend Maranatha Christian Reformed Church. He currently serves on the Lethbridge Police Commission and the Lethbridge Rotary Club Board of Directors. He has previously served on church council, the Board of Rehoboth Christian Ministries, and the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce.

Peter Jon has completed a 3-year term on the Lethbridge Advisory Committee and has been nominated to serve on the Board. As a Board member, Peter would serve the Christian community and show appreciation for the excellent service provided by the Lethbridge branch.
