Fraud Prevention

IMPORTANT! MasterCard Fraud

September 20, 2011

A fraudulent email is currently being circulated asking you to verify your Mastercard account. Here is an example of the request:

Dear Customer, 
"This e-mail is to inform you that you have not signed in to for 32 days. To ensure that you are able to access your MasterCard account information online,  please visit us at www.cucardsonline.com (hyperlink). Signing in to the website and fill in your info ensures that your Mastercard account remains active." 

Do not reply to this message or click on the hyperlink. This scam is designed to collect you personal information and access your accounts. If you are a victim of fraud, please report the incident to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
