Are you passionate about providing members with personalized investment advice? If so, this permanent Mutual Funds Investment Specialist role may be the opportunity for you! The ideal candidate has excellent relationship building skills and is well-versed in all aspects of investment products, including mutual fund solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides investment advice grounded in biblical financial principles.

Builds excellent member relationships and recommends financial solutions and products which are best suited to assist members in achieving their financial goals.

Delivers the full range of investment solutions to members and potential members, including RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs, RDSPs and term deposits and mutual funds.

Monitors investment renewal reports and conducts follow up activities in a timely manner to strengthen member relationships, retain existing business, and identify opportunities to meet member needs.

Manages an assigned mutual fund portfolio; assesses and anticipates individual member needs and conducts regular reviews with the members. Refers more complex financial planning needs to partners on the Wealth Management team.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years financial services experience or related post-secondary education in a business discipline; mutual fund sales experience is an asset.
- Holds Investment Funds in Canada Course or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) with eligibility for MFDA licensing. Completion of or working towards Financial Planning Designation (CFP) is an asset.
THE COMPENSATION:
A competitive salary range of $56,800 - $71,000 per annum commensurate with experience along with benefits package, deposit and loan programs are all reasons to consider Christian Credit Union for your career.
