We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide an advanced level of administrative support to the CEO, Board of Directors and senior executive team working in a faith-based organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Anticipates and provides a broad range of confidential administrative services for the CEO and senior executive team. Proactively oversees, coordinates, administers and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, events and travel arrangements for the CEO.
- Coordinates and plans the logistics of corporate events such as the Annual General Meeting and the Board Strategic Planning retreat by securing appropriate venue, audio/video equipment, meal arrangements and assisting with event materials such as preparation of reports, presentations, ballots, etc. to deliver best in class service to our members, Board/Committee and Executive team. Records and transcribes related minutes.
- Supports the preparation of Board Committee (Audit & Finance and Governance Advisory) meeting agendas, compiling and posting meeting packages to SharePoint, attending meetings and recording minutes, and following up with any designated Action Items.
- Serves as custodian of record for official Board/Committee documents by ensuring proper document control and document management and electronic filing systems.
- Creates meeting(s) timelines, prepares and distributes meeting notification, correspondence, agenda, compiles and posts meeting packages to SharePoint, and arranges catering and technological requirements for Board and Committee meetings.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Demonstrates Christian character and our core values of humble, hungry, and people smart with a desire to promote biblical financial stewardship.
- Handles confidential/sensitive information with sound judgement and discretion.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Self-managed, demonstrating initiative and working autonomously within specified boundaries.
- Minimum 3 years of administrative assistant experience, with experience in an Executive Assistant role preferred; experience at a Financial Institution is an asset.
- Working knowledge of the functionality and role of the Board of Directors is required.
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, and SharePoint.
THE COMPENSATION:
A competitive salary range of $54,366 - $67,958 per annum commensurate with experience along with benefits package, deposit and loan program and education programs are all reasons to consider Christian Credit Union for your career.
